Do I need Renters Insurance?
Yes. In order to provide the best possible living experience for our residents we require all of our residents to have Renter’s Insurance. Thankfully, we have partnered with ePremium to make it easier than ever for the resident Renter’s to enroll in a Renter’s Insurance policy which takes less than 2 minutes.
Are Briargate Apartments Furnished?
We do not offer furnished spaces, but we can connect you to a local furnishing company that we workk close with. CORT Furniture.
What Utilities are Residents Responsible for?
Water, sewer, gas and trash and all inclluded in our rental rates. Electric is the only bill that residents are responsible for and is paid directly to Consumers Energy.
Is there public transportation nearby?
Yes, there is a metro bus stop located less than a 5 minute walk from briargate community that travels to various locations like Planet Fitness, Freiendly Market, Crossroads Mall. Briargate is also a short 15 minute drive from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo Valley Communbity College.
Is Briargate pet friendly?
Yes! We do not have any weight restrictions but we do restrict aggresive breeds at our community.
